Purpose of the role:
· Ensuring and maintaining ongoing compliance with relevant standards
· Continuously improving ETP Quality Management System
· This role will influence, guide and train the people leaders and associates
· Working alongside stakeholders, develop quality processes
· Ensuring ongoing performance and customer satisfaction
Main Responsibilities:
· Influence, guide and ongoing training on quality
· Managing quality management system
· Manage and implement aspects of safety and environment within the QMS
· Implementing and maintaining systems to meet legal and regulatory requirements
· Act as the primary contact for all issues relate to certification and management systems
· Conduct internal and external quality audits as scheduled
· Following up on product inspection and test plans
· Point of contact for customer complaint investigations
· Reviewing and reporting of daily production quality data
· Updating local documents and ensuring they are up to date
· Work cross functionally to ensure effective investigation and assessment of quality issues
· Assist engineering teams to prevent repeat non-conformance
· Work with Manufacturing manager and operations to ensure increasing level of product yield
· Work in accordance of the company values and code of conduct
· To provide leadership and support, including business strategies, changes and communications, objective setting, performance reviews, leave requests, adhoc employee relations and queries.
Skills/Knowledge/ Abilities:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar
· At least 5 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role within a production or manufacturing environment
· Experience with complex electromechanical assemblies highly desirable
· Strong influencing skills including the ability to promote quality and continuous improvement at all levels and across all areas of the organisation
· Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members
· Goal oriented, ability to work strategically and operationally
· Six Sigma green belt (desirable)
· Lean methodologies experience (desirable)
· Advanced knowledge in computer literacy (MS office functions) and project planning tools
· Highly organised and a problem solver
· In depth knowledge of Work, Health and Safety regulations
· Strong safety focused, assertive and hands on
· Excellent organisation and communication skills
· Ability to manage diverse work groups and teams
