Get the job you want, not just the one you need.
Turn up. Do the job. Get called first.
At DSC your record does the talking. Every job you do well goes on it — and the people with the best records get called first, for the work they actually asked for.
Reliable workers shouldn't wait in the same queue as everyone else.
Most agencies ring whoever's free. We ring whoever's proven. Here's what that means for you.
First Call gets the first call
Earn First Call and you're on the list we ring before anyone else — for the good jobs, the long jobs and the urgent ones.
You choose the track
Want a permanent job? Perm Track. Prefer temp work around study, travel or the season? Temp Track. You tell us — we match you to work that fits.
One consultant who knows you
Not a call centre. The same person registers you, places you and follows up after the job — and knows which sites you do your best work on.
The admin is ours
Payroll, super, workers' comp and insurances sit with DSC. You turn up and do the work. We make sure you're paid properly for it.
Turn up. Do the job. Get called first.
Four steps, the same for everyone. Two happen before you reach a site, two happen on the job. Nobody skips ahead and nobody gets left behind.
Register
Tell us your skills, tickets and the kind of work you want. Your consultant calls you back — a real conversation, not a form.
Site Ready
We check your White Card, tickets, licences, right to work and references, and run you through a WH&S induction. Then you're cleared to work.
Reviewed after every job
After each placement we ask the client three things: did you turn up, did you perform, did you fit? It goes on your record every time.
First Call
Good reviews and being asked back earn First Call. From here you can opt into Perm Track or Temp Track — your choice.
You start ahead.
We've partnered with Commonsense Safety Training because their graduates arrive knowing how a site works. So we treat the certificate as part of your proof — and you reach First Call in fewer jobs than everyone else.

Bring your Statement of Attainment. We check it at intake alongside your White Card — it goes on your record from day one.
Fast-tracked to First Call
Your training does part of the early proving for you. Fewer placements between Site Ready and the list we ring first.
New Start — if you're new to site work
No site hours yet? We place you with a client who's agreed to supervise your first week, so you learn the ropes properly before joining the normal pathway.
Same standards as everyone
The certificate gets you there faster. It doesn't lower the bar — you still turn up, perform and get asked back.
What we ask of you.
None of this is complicated. It's the stuff that separates a worker who gets called first from one who doesn't get called again.
Turn up, on time, ready
Boots, tickets, PPE and the right attitude. Every shift.
If you can't make it, ring early
Things happen. A call lets us cover the site. Silence doesn't.
Keep your tickets current
Tell us before something expires, not after a site turns you away.
Work safe, speak up
If a site or a task isn't right, tell the supervisor and tell us. Nobody at DSC will ever mark you down for raising a safety issue.
Treat every job as the audition
Because it is. Each one is a review on your record — and a reason for the next client to ask for you by name.
Straight answers.
How long does it take to reach First Call?
It depends on the reviews, not the calendar. A few good jobs where you turned up, performed and were asked back will do it. Commonsense graduates get there in fewer placements because their training counts toward the proof.
Do I have to pick a track?
No. First Call on its own already gets you called first. The tracks are there if you know what you want next — and you can join, switch or leave one by telling your consultant.
What happens if I get a poor review?
One poor review isn't the end — your consultant will talk it through with you. A pattern of no-shows or walk-offs will move you down the list, or off it. Good work after a bad day counts too.
Do I need a White Card to register?
For construction sites, yes — it's checked before you're Site Ready. For warehousing, events, cleaning and office roles it depends on the job. Register anyway and your consultant will tell you what you need and where to get it.
I've got no site experience. Can I still start?
Yes. Complete a Commonsense course and ask us about New Start — a supervised first week with a client who's agreed to show you the ropes. After that you're on the same pathway as everyone else.
Who do I actually deal with?
One Recruitment Consultant at the office nearest you. They register you, place you, check in on day one and log your reviews. Same name, same number, every time.
Ready for the job you want?
Tell us what you're after — permanent, project crews, work around study or travel — and a consultant from your nearest office will call you back. Bring your tickets, your White Card and, if you've got one, your Commonsense Statement of Attainment. Every job from here builds the record that gets you the next one.
